Meet Kaitlin

My name is Kaitlin, but those closest to me call me Kaite. I live in sunny Phoenix with my husband Jordan. We met in line at Starbucks when I moved to Portland, Oregon, and have been glued to the hip ever since! I always knew coffee had a deeper purpose in my world than just bringing me back to life each morning. We have a beautiful son named Milo, and another cutie on the way named Jack.

I have ALWAYS loved all things skincare and beauty related. I credit it mostly to being #homeschooled and having a lot of time on my hands. I do, however, have a love/hate relationship with the beauty industry. I LOVE all the innovation and creativity that comes from it, I HATE that women are constantly being told they need one more product to be beautiful. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL ALREADY, full stop. I think there are products and technique on the market to bring out that beauty and confidence that’s been there the whole time!

In 2018 I became a Maskcara Artist after having my skin completely changed by their skincare line, and have been obsessed ever since. This makeup is revolutionary, and if you don't believe me, check out some of those before and afters! I named my business Lily and Sparrow because in Matthew 6:25-34 we learn that we need to cast our anxieties on our heavenly Father; the provider of food to the birds, and the adornment of the lilies of the field. He is the author of beauty, the ultimate designer.
